倡导美文诵读,论文_罗红英

英语美文诵读,是学习英语行之有效的方法之一。不仅仅有利于培养学生的英语语感,提高学生口头表达的准确性,也有利于发展学生的英语听、说、写等能力。因此,教师要结合教材内容,选择适合学生的诵读材料,同时重视诵读技巧的指导,循序渐进地培养学生的美文诵读能力,进而促进学生英语综合能力的提升。

一.倡导诵读,从背诵词语的习惯搭配入手

在课文学习过程中,教师应该帮助学生整理出一些重点句型和习惯搭配等,重点记忆。例如,必修4 unit 1 women of achievements一课中,重点短语有: argue with sb. over/ about sth.; show respect for sb; come across;refer to the dictionary;等等。掌握了短语,完成下列写作练习就轻而易举了。

1)我不会再跟你争吵手机的事,条件是你要尊敬老师,努力学习。

I will not argue with (争吵)you over your mobile phone on condition that you show respect for your teachers and work hard at your lessons.

2)阅读过程中不要一碰到新单词就去查字典。

Don’t refer to the dictionary(查字典) the moment you come across (偶然碰到) a new word while reading.

二.倡导诵读,从背诵经典句型入手

英语课文中有许多的重点句型,这些句型也往往是考试的重点内容,把这些句型背熟了,在书面表达中就能运用自如,给文章增色不少。以必修4 unit 1 women of achievements一课为例,重点句型有:

【课本原句】1. Suddenly it hit me how difficult it was for a woman to get medical training at that time.

句型提炼:It hits/hit sb+从句 某人突然想起……

联想拓展:

与“It hits/hit sb+从句”含义相似的结构还有:

①It occurred/occurs to sb+从句

②It strikes/struck sb+从句

句型仿写:我突然想到帮助有困难的人是一种传统美德。

①Suddenly, it hit me that it was a traditional virtue to help those in trouble.

②All of a sudden, it struck me that it was a traditional virtue to help those in trouble.

③All at once, it occurred to me that it was a traditional virtue to help those in trouble.

【课本原句】2. Only after her mother came to help her for the first few months was she allowed to begin her project.

句型提炼:Only+介词短语/状语从句的倒装句式

句型仿写:只有当我测验败北时我才意识到努力学习是何等的主要。

期刊文章分类查询,尽在期刊图书馆

Only when I failed the test did I realize how important it was to study hard.

【课本原句】3. Once I stop,it all comes crowding in and I remember the chimps in laboratories.

句型提炼: once从句.意为“一旦”

句型仿写:一旦开播,这部电视剧就会受欢迎。

Once (it is) broadcast,the TV play will gain popularity .

三.倡导诵读,从背诵经典段落入手

高中的英语课文篇幅比较长,要全篇背诵下来是有一定的难度的,我们教师可以精选出其中的几段重点段落,然后要求学生背诵。比如,出现新词汇较多的段落,有较多重点句型的段落,亦或是文字优美的段落。例如,必修4 unit 3 A master of nonverbal humour一文中的第三自然段:

“As time went by, he began making films. He grew more and more popular as his charming character, the little tramp, became known throughout the world. The tramp, a poor, homeless man with a moustache, wore large trousers, worn-out shoes and a small round black hat. He walked around stiffly carrying a walking stick. This character was a social failure but was loved for his optimism and determination to overcome all difficulties. He was the underdog who was kind even when others were unkind to him.”

这一自然段,不仅有较多新词汇,而且涉及了单元语法doing的用法,as的用法,还有多个形容词的排序问题。此外,还有众多些固定短语等等。因此,背诵下这一段落,很多知识点也就掌握好了。

四.倡导诵读,从话题晨背入手

充分利用晨读课的时间,布置范文供学生背诵,也能很大程度上提升学生写作能力。英语课程内容规划的每个模块每个单元都涉及不同的话题。背诵相关话题的佳句或范文,可以为学生写作积累一定的素材。

因此,不管将来发生什么事情我们都应该保持冷静,只有用这种方式我们才能恰当地处理问题并维护好我们的友谊。

当然,我们也可以让学生背诵话题范文,这样,考试时才会有信手拈来的灵感。

五.倡导诵读,从精选诵读文章入手

精选些美文供学生朗读也是不错的途径。譬如,读起来琅琅上口的文章或内容富含哲理,可以诱人深思的文章等等。在诵读过程中不仅可以培养学生语言意识和语感,也可以进行德育的渗透, 让学生学会做人做事,成长为有文明素养和社会责任感的人。

“腹有诗书气自华”,作为一线英语教师,我们要结合教学实际,引领学生诵读,在“诵”中加强记忆,在“用”中提升能力,何乐而不为呢?
